Daryl is the Deputy Chief Inspector, Petroleum and Gas Inspectorate within the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy.
Daryl has significant regulatory experience, having previously worked as an inspector, investigator, manager and director for regulators including, Petroleum and Gas, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Electrical Safety Office and Worksafe WA.
He has worked over the past 19 years in safety and health regulatory environments, having recently returned to the inspectorate from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland where he was the Director, Construction Strategy and Compliance oversighting 70 field based inspectors across Queensland.
Daryl holds post graduate qualifications in: Accident Investigation and Public Sector Management.
