Logan City Council
Eddie has over 30 years’ experience working in the building and plumbing industry, with over 16 years working for local government. He holds the position of Development Engineering Program Leader for Logan City Council (Council) where he is responsible the delivery of Council’s plumbing and engineering assessment and compliance functions.
He holds plumbing and gas fitting licences, diploma qualifications in both business management and engineering. He is the current president of the Institute of Plumbing Inspectors Queensland (IPIQ), the deputy chairman of the Legionella Management Advisory Group (LMAG) and is also a deputy member of the Services Trade Council (STC), representing the IPIQ.
Eddie has significant experience in managing engineering, plumbing and town planning teams within a local government structure. He has the ability to provide advice on complex technical, engineering, plumbing and development legislative provisions to achieve sustainable development outcomes.
