Reg Cornish’s experience in the gas industry spans over 36 years, where his heavy involvement saw him involved in many areas of gas, from on the ground operations through to working with the Petroleum and Gas Inspectorate with the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines.
Reg recently retired from his positions with the Petroleum and Gas Inspectorate, where he was responsible for the monitoring, inspecting and auditing of gas activities within Queensland.
His involvement with the Inspectorate included:
Reg’s previous experience in the gas industry also includes the conversion of internal combustion engines from petrol to LPG operation, the delivery of LPG cylinder network operations, and also installing and servicing domestic, commercial and industrial gas installations.
He was also an installer of LPG tank and liquid LPG delivery facilities for automotive refuelling, and was an owner/operator of LPG road tankers for servicing, maintaining and repairing LPG tanks, cylinders and allied equipment.
